The International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY) has officially released its full 2026 IBBY Honour List, and the Brille Petit team is thrilled to share some incredible news! Sa Iisang Batya, illustrated by the award-winning artist Rommel Joson, has officially been named to this prestigious biennial selection under the Illustration category!

The IBBY Honour List is one of the most revered recognitions in the children’s book world, spotlighting outstanding, recently published titles from IBBY national sections across the globe. This year, Sa Iisang Batya stands proud among 191 exceptional titles submitted worldwide—books chosen for their technical skill, brilliant storytelling, and universal appeal to children everywhere.
