The storytelling magic continues!
Brille Petit is gearing up once again to spotlight budding storytellers in the 2nd Brille Petit Storytelling Competition! Following its successful launch in 2025, the competition builds up momentum in celebrating children’s literature and showcasing the vibrant storytelling skills of students aged 7 to 10.
The young participants are poised to bring the imprint’s storybooks to life, presenting their selected English or Filipino pieces on stage within the new 4-minute timeframe.
The competition is set to begin with the Qualifying Round at the School of Saint Anthony on July 31st, 2026. Finalists will return to the stage at the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) on September 11, 2026.
Echoing last year’s objectives, the upcoming contest reinforces Brille Petit’s role in championing lifelong love for reading and promoting creative self-expression among the children.
The competition is open to elementary schools across Metro Manila and nearby regions. Online registration kicked off last April 6, 2026 and will remain open until July 1, 2026.
